Macy’s set out to change that by introducing a warm, relatable embodiment of a gift guide — someone who brings ease, expertise, and excitement back to holiday shopping. Enter the Macy’s Gift Guide, played by the fabulous Alison Brie. As a trusted curator, she helps shoppers find the perfect gifts with confidence.

Set in a whimsical, festive Gift Guide World, she transforms holiday shopping from a chore into a joyful moment of connection — one that only an icon like Macy’s can deliver.

Inspired by the tenets of Afrofuturism, I was pleased to lead The Forum through a full brand identity and communications strategy overhaul - the first for the organization since its founding in 2006.

A beautiful blend of past meets present, work embodies the organization’s renewed sense of purpose and intentionality; empowering Minnesota’s Black communities to imagine, then create an equitable future.

Organic, targeted paid + earned media garnered 1MM+ cross-platform impressions; successfully re-introducing The Forum to a diverse, energized audience.

Continued implementation of new brand strategy and visual identity, with support from a fully revamped website, has led to the highest consistent audience engagement for The Forum across owned channels.


Smithsonian + DM.E

OUR SHARED FUTURE: RECKONING WITH OUR RACIAL PAST

"Our Shared Future: Reckoning With Our Racial Past" is a Smithsonian initiative designed to foster a positive discussion on understanding the issues of race and racism.

DM.Experiential brought together a team of world-class creative and production talent; working with the Smithsonian’s curators to establish the message while bringing to life a multi-tiered program with elements including streamed events, in-person experiential pop-ups, “how to” kits to enable self-produced events, a web portal, web-based app, digital and curated user-generated content.
